📋 Client Intake & Case Organization

  • Learn the full client intake lifecycle — from initial consultation to matter opening. Students develop intake protocols, conflict checks, and client communication standards while leveraging AI tools for case organization and analysis, reducing administrative burden and improving accuracy from day one.

🤖 AI Utilization in Legal Practice

  • An in-depth module on integrating artificial intelligence into daily legal workflows. Students work hands-on with Juma.AI, Claude AI, OpenCase, and Brief Point to assist with case summarization, document review, discovery analysis, and drafting support — building the skills that define the next generation of legal professionals.

📁 Case Management & Appointment Calendaring

  • Master end-to-end case management using Case Portal and Go High Level, including matter tracking, deadline management, client follow-up workflows, and appointment scheduling. Students learn to manage high-volume caseloads with precision and professionalism.

🗂️ Document Management & Productivity Tools

  • Students become proficient in a modern legal tech stack including:
  • Roam — for connected note-taking and knowledge management
  • OneDrive — for secure document storage and collaboration
  • Juma.AI — for AI-assisted drafting, research, and task management
  • Go High Level — for client communication and CRM workflows

⚖️ Court Filing & Litigation Support

An introduction to state and federal court filing procedures, electronic filing systems (e-file), and document formatting standards. 

Students work alongside supervising attorneys on active matters, supported by Brief Point litigation and discovery software for exhibit management and deposition summaries.

✍️ Legal Drafting

Foundational and advanced legal drafting covering letters, pleadings, motions, declarations, and correspondence. 

Students use Claude AI and Brief Point to assist with structure and review, while developing their own professional voice under attorney supervision.

🏛️ Small Claims Practice

A practical module covering small claims court procedures, demand letters, filing requirements, and courtroom preparation. Students assist with real small claims matters from intake through resolution.

💍 Divorce & Family Law

An overview of dissolution of marriage proceedings, including uncontested and contested divorce, child custody and support basics, property division, and prenuptial agreements. Students work with Online Divorce and Prenup Lawyer software to assist clients with document preparation and case management.

🌎 Immigration Law Fundamentals

Introduction to core immigration matters including family-based petitions, adjustment of status, DACA, work authorization, and naturalization. 

Students assist with case preparation, document gathering, and client communication under supervising attorney oversight. 

🏡 Estate Planning

Foundational and advanced legal drafting covering letters, pleadings, motions, declarations, and correspondence. 

Students use Claude AI and Brief Point to assist with structure and review, while developing their own professional voice under attorney supervision.
